Turob Oil Recommendations

Good info, thanks.

I've used the AMSOIL Series 2000 20W50 in my three older model Porsches with great results (944, 928, 944 S2)

I've also used the AMSOIL Series 2000 75W90 synthetic gear lube with superior results, and would recommend it to anyone running a manual transmission, or in my case a transaxle combination.

My question to you, and this is regarding a bran new XC90 2.5T, is this:

"would you go with the Amsoil tech recommendation noted in my initial post, or would you go with the Series 2000 product you noted, and if so, why"?

The Series 2000 looks like the top of the line, but I'm wondering why the tech department recommended the "turbo formulated" oil. Naturally I'm looking for the best product for the vehicle, and found my way to Amsoil products a long time ago, just wondering wich of their products is best suited for the new XC.

regards,

Mr. P
