Need advice on aftermarket CD changer V70-XC70 1998

Have a 1998 V70 with factory radio system that includes the operation for a "cd changer" but car came w/o the changer.

Would like to install an aftermarket changer. Assume the factory unit was installed in the cargo area. Is the wire cable already installed and accessable in the cargo area? Location?

What aftermarket changers will work with the Volvo radio system? Do I ned adaptors of some type to connect an aftermarket unit to the factory control/radio system?

Anything else I need to consider?

Does anyone know of a Volvo salvage yard that might have a factory unit available at a decent cost?

Thanks.
