Looking for a new car

The 95 GLT model does not have a turbo. GLTs have turbo engines
starting in the 1997 model year. So, if it is a turbo engine
it will have a turbo badge on the back of the car (and the top of
the air filter says TURBO).

In any case, the turbo is more reliable then many other parts of
the car. The transmission, ABS, etc. are more likely to cause
you problems then the turbo. I have a 1995 GLT and 1998 T5 in the
garage. The 1995 was a pretty good year for 850s and ours has
performed well.
