turning off dashboard lights V70-XC70 2001

Hello Andy, just reading about your dashboard light situation,i think the only option is to turn them right down on the dimmer switch, apart from removing the fuse, then i dont think there is another way other than a big re-wire job,but i am not an electrician.I have all lights on all the time, never had the problem of burn outs!! Turning them down on the dimmer switch might help you?If you do find another way then let us all know.I own a V70 2002 model and drive with pride and let the lights burn bright!! Let them know i'm coming!! take care....safe and happy volvoing......Buzz Lightyear drives a V70!!
