P0455 Evap sys leak odbc msg 850 1997

Interesting....I was recently getting this code also...to check I filled up the tank supper full. I got no spillate, but when I hooked a vacuum pump onto the evap line at the charcoal canister, I could hear a gurling noise at the tank like bubbles coming in from the outside right near the pipe you are describing. The light has dissapeared since, so it was no longer at the top of my list to fix, but I was uneasy i never found the solution. Thanks for the description of this hose, it sounds exactly like it might have been causing the problem on mine. I'll check it!
