fuel filter V70-XC70 1998

TODAY I ATTEMPTED TO CHANGE MY FUEL FILTER. I SPENT 3 HRS WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS. I REMOVED THE TRAP DOOR FROM ABOVE AND WAS UNABLE TO GET THE FRONT QUICK DISCONNECT OFF EVEN WITH THE USE OF A 17MM OPEN END WRENCH. I NOTICED ANOTHER TRAP DOOR IN FRONT OF THE MAIN ONE OVER THE FILTER. THIS ONE WOULD PUT,ME RIGHT OVER THE FRONT QUICK DISCONNECT. THE PROBLEM IS I CANNOT GET THE FLOOR PANEL OFF,THE ONE DIRECTLY BEHIND THE REAR SEAR BACK,IT MEASURES APPROX 6"WIDE. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW OR HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS.

PETER
