AFTERMARKET HEADLIGHTS QUESTION 850 1994

I recently had a front end crunch that required the replacement of the front headlights assemblies among other body parts. The insurance company wanted to total the car, but after going online and finding some aftermarket items, one being both headlights, they saved enough to get the cost of repair down enough to allow me to keep it and have it repaired. My question is should the replacement aftermarket headlights have the same beam pattern that the original had or should I expect a different/poorer pattern?
