blower only works on high 1995

I had the same problem on my 94 850 wagon. My blower motor was also squeeling. first I replaced the motor, but to get it to work at the lower speeds I had to replace the resistor pack. Not a difficult job once you get the glovebox and knee bolster out. Perhaps you need the resistor pack.
