1997 850 - Coolant 850 1997

I use the volvo coolant. Volvo doesn't demand volvo oil,volvo power steering fluid etc.. but they do recommend volvo coolant . this evolved from the specific needs of a aluminum head and cast iron block from the 700/200 days when coolants did not address the differences between different metals expandabilities. It has been pointed out that many coolants have been brought up to standard. I tend to be an o.e.m. guy. By the way you might want to address the reasons your losing coolant now before it becomes a real problem, make sure your fan is kicking on I just replaced a relay as my fan was not working.
