check out the instructions on http://volvospeed.com/Repair/sunroof.htm to disassemble/assemble sunroof. I followed the instructions to fix the fabric which had come off the shade and blocking it from sliding. In your case you may have some obstruction on the guide rails. goodluck. don't start the job if the rain is predicted within the next hour or two.
