Door troubles S70

Had this concern with the wife's 2000 V70. It seemed likely that the interior panel had been forced apart from the door at some time in the past and the door sounded loose when shutting.

Solution...I trilled/tapped a small machine screw into the very bottom of the door to fix the interior door moulding to the metal frame there. Haven't heard anything from it since then.

Alternative solution...remove the interior door moulding and glue the two layers of the moulding back together. Probably a better solution in the long run.

Hope this helps...

C.
