minidisc changer V70-XC70

Please can anyone help me. I have a 98' V70 with AWD and the original factory stereo (single CD + cassette) that has controls for a CD changer. It appears that I can add a CD changer (it is my understanding from this site that any Alpine CHM model will work) but what about a minidisc changer? Has anyone done this on the Volvo 850/V70 series? Please help if you have anything to offer.
