850 sunroof 850

I had some issues with my sunroof and the solution was to simply remove the black plastic rails on each side of the sunroof.

Open the sunroof all the way. On the driver and passenger side you should see the flat plastic rails. On my car, they caused binding and problems opening and cosing the sunroof. I just removed them and everything is fine.

If this is your problem - try this solution before doing a complicated "autopsy" on the internals of the sunroof. Takes 5 minutes to remove the plastic rails and you'll know right away whether the problem has been solved.
