Throtle body clean up S70

Howdy folks.
Had P0101 code for a long time and my city mileage is about 13mpg. I have no other codes. I took the car to my mechanic who told me to see the dealer.
Brooklyn dealer told me that the car was fine.... FINE!???!!! Those incompetent mofo_s!
The manhattan dealer has duly found a code 130A. That code corresponds to P0101. They checked the MAF sensor, I changed it, 3 months ago and that did not clear the code. They checked the manifold, it was clean. They flashed the ECM and the codes persisted. They called central Volvo service center.
Volvo told them that throtle needs to be cleaned.
Since the throtle is very hard to reach, it takes about 3.5 hours to get it out and put back it. My mechanic upon seeing the car said the same thing.
So the $300 question is: Is there a some gas/oil additive that will clean it up for much cheaper?
Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
