Throtle body clean up S70

Buildup of carbon and other stuff in the throttle body is a common problem with fuel injected vehicles and needs to be cleaned every so often.
I have a 98 V70 (pre-ETS) and it takes about 30 min. to get the throttle body out for cleaning. If you want to do a good job, the part needs to be removed from the engine.

If you have a 1999 and newer, be very careful, the throttle body in 1999 and newer is an ETS. ETS failures have been associated with cleaning fluids finding their way into the electronic portion of the throttle unit and eventually ruining it. About $900.00 repair.
