1994 850T Cuts out... 850

Hey All,

I'm a newbie to this forum.

Just a quick question, I notice that there are some threads about this topic, but I have some idiosyncrasies with my problem:

Symptoms: Once, I was driving the car on the highway, and when I went to press the gas, nothing happened, like the pedal didnt increase RPMs. Removed my foot, tried again and it worked. On that same trip, I stopped at a gas station and tried to crank the car after fueling up, and it failed to turn over and start. Had to sit there for 5 mins and then eventually got the car running. Fast forward 6 weeks. Now the car seems to die on me at random intervals. I'll be driving along, thet car will crap out, all dashboard lights will illuminate, and power steering will be lost. Sometimes stopping the car and re-starting the engine will work, sometimes you have to wait 5 mins. The only commonalities that I can see in each of these incidences (talking about recent crapouts) is that the car was stopped at an intersection for a long time and/or the car is driving along at low speed/RPM (i.e. engine is not constantly going, more like coasting down a hill, push the gas a little, 1500 rpm, let go, ec.)

Attempts at solutions: I've taken the car to the mechanic, he agreed to take it home for a week and drive it. The car must be haunted because nothing happened with him. We recently replaced the O2 sensor (but the initial highway and gas station incidents occured before O2 replacement), and yesterday we went to the mechanic with the car (after we had it back and it conked), he did the diagnostic, and a 325 code came on for the #2 socket I think. Now we're looking at replacing the Bosch computer boards (don't know what they're called, but they're next to the diagnostic plug), but somehow I think the problem is more fuel system related.

Any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated... Sorry for the verbose post :)
