Turbo Drain Seal S40-V40

Hi Everyone,

I believe my question applies to all turbo volvos, so I hope I can get an answer from someone that has dealt with a similar problem.

I own a 2001 S40 with 85000km on it and recently was told by my mechanic that I have a small leak at the turbo drain seal.

Does anyone know if this is a serious problem? Is this something I can neglect for awhile. I do not notice any oil consumption, so should I wait until this becomes more significant? Assuming that the oil loss becomes more siginificant where should I expect to see the oil (i.e., if I always park the car in the same spot should I expect to see oil on the ground in a specific spot?).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

-Kris
