Fat ignition keys!! Does anyone else object to the fat rubber coated keys? I do.. S70

I know these are designed for theft prevention, but they are so awkward in my pocket. What if I owned 2 or 3 cars (I don't)with these keys. Is there anyway around this nuisance? Maybe I could remove the rubber cover and chip from the key and glue it to the steering column. TIA.
