Many thanks, Expertech. Found a Volvo document on the web today that is a TSB, and describes the cleaning procedure...including how many hours they ought to charge for it. Based on its queer location, I think the quoted range depending on verhicle of 0.8 to 1.2 hrs is a good deal. Noted: clean it and the PCV. Thanks again.
