Fault Code PO245 850 1996

I can not speak to this particular code. However, you mentioned the preasure washing and that made me concerned with the Air Pump and the associated check valve. In my 96 GLT 110K the air pump (located under the battery and tray) became a water pump. It seems that the valve (behind the Oil Cap) (top of Engine) often sticks open and allows moisture to enter what should be an Air Pump. This reduces the abilty to bring air into the exhaust system upon engine start.

I would check to see if this pump is water logged. FCPGroton.com has great price on replacement and upgraded parts. 2 hour job to replace.

Hope this helps
