'94 850 check engine light keeps coming back 850

I apologize if this is something that's been covered before.

Quick summary:
'94 854T, with knock sensor wiring upgrade kit

Check engine light comes on every few days, code P0326.

My mechanic has tried every wiring route he knows. He has consulted other mechanics, and tried all their suggestions. But the light keeps coming back on. Any ideas would be much appreciated, as I'm on the verge of losing my mind trying to fix this problem.
