Help Troubleshooting Boost Cut Out 850 1996

96 850 Turbo 96K Please help!

1. Intermittant miss at idle

2. Power consistently "cuts out", gets "jerky", becomes "rough" when approaching 4,000 RPM

3. Had codes for cylinder 1 misfire and knock sensor - cleared codes - now have cylinder 2 misfire code only.

4. Replacing plug wires, rotar and distributer cap had no effect.

Various suggestions from on-line research and talking to mechanics have been to check turbo "control valve", the "boost solenoid", and for leaks in all turbo related hoses.

Please help. What to check and how to check it OR where to go to get good troubleshooting procedures would be greatly appreciated. I don't have pressure gauges and such, can I do this without it? Thanks, Calvin.
