no resistance in brake pedal S80 2000

Hey there, I am usually on the 200 message board, but my friend has an S80 and when she brakes sometimes the pedal travels to the floor and she must pump the pedal to bring it back up to normal braking pressure.

Any info on this problem would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
