EMS Warning Light S70 2000

I recently had the throttle module on my S60 replaced. My S60 had 45,000 km on it and though it is a 2001 model, the low milege enabled me to get a "goodwill claim" against Volvo Cars Malaysia. Only had to pay for the labour which was also a rip off at about RM800 at Federal Auto. Actual module costs just under RM4000 i think. Try enquiring about the goodwill claim.

Secondly, there is a workshop in Jln Dua behind Swedish Marque. Operated by an ex-Federal Auto supervisor and engineer. Name of place is Vol-Mar and phone number is 03-92238589. Look for Ng. He is very experienced. Prices given are 25% off original parts (vs 10% for FedAut/SwedMarq) and labour is also much much cheaper. Place is a little shabby as compared to the boutique looks of SwedMarq/FedAut, but trust that the expertise is on par if not better.
