glowing lights 850 1993

Tonight my fuel low light began to glow dim to flickering.
when I turned down the heater fan it went off.
This really takes me back to the gen light glowing in respone to power usage on my 63 122s. I guess the more things change the more things stay the same.
Has anyone else experianced this phenomena ??
