Which would you choose? S60

I go along with vvpete. The 2.5T is a more pleasant engine in day to day driving. The torque comes in very low (which I think is more important than horsepower). It is torque that moves the car and makes it feel peppy. Of course when you get over 4000 RPM thats another story. The T5 comes alive then. But how many people spend most of their time in the high rev ranges during normal driving? Get the 2.5T and you will be more than satisfied and spend the extra money on an upgrade that you would not ordinarily buy (like maybe a Nav system).
