SUMMARY: V70N 2000 DTC P1237? V70-XC70

SUMMARY: low boost caused by a faulty magnet valve that controls the wastegate. This thing is attached to the side of the airfilter box and has three little diameter hoses connected to it. One (red marking) hose comes from the pressurized size of turbo, one (yellow marking) hose goes to wastegate and one (blue marking) goes to unpressurized size of turbo.

This valve cuts the pressure line that would otherwise open the wastegate and thus controls the boost. If this valve stops working, the boost will be maximum of 2 psi's which is so called base level boost and controlled by the wastegate spring.

0-62 mph time went from 10.5s to ~8.5s by replacing the faulty magnet valve.
