Buying a V70 V70-XC70 2004

Got the following quotes from a dealer in San Francisco. They gave the same quote to another person I talked to so seems consistent in pricing.

2.5T V70 + premium + sport + metallic for $28980.

I'm in Seattle and the couple of dealers I checked around here and Portland OR wouldn't do this deal so there seems to be some regional differences. This is about $7500 off MSRP per Tony In So Cal.

Volvo is giving away premium (was the case in July) to help the dealers sell these cars.

A couple notes

- Getting exactly what you are looking for might be tougher as 04 are getting phased out.

- One dealer showed me the cars rolling off the "production list". They were able to get these cars for you for about $31+K. Lots of xc70s, only a few 2.5Ts. You will have to wait for the cars to be shipped.

- All the dealers have a ton of XC70s. If you like these, they are going for closer to $8500 off MSRP in SF. The amount of stock will give you more choices (sounds like you want it loaded with the key options)

- 05s are due out soon and have various changes. No major body style change but external lighting + interior seems to have changed. Don't know if you care for these. But I'm sure no way to get such good deals as the 04s.

Good luck. I've been shopping around and decided to wait for the 05s.
