Pay up 850 1996

Yes, there is a simple way to do it.

Remove the 50A fuse to the ABS module. The speedometer/odometer gets its info from the ABS module which in turn gets it from the ABS sensors from the front wheels.

WARNING! DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK... since you loose ABS braking, even though your regular brakes will work fine. You also loose the speedometer.

Now that you know how to do it, here is where your maturity is being tested. Your dad made that deal with you for a reason, besides it's probably cheaper than renting a car, SO GO AHEAD AND PAY UP.
