DIM LED FOR THE FAULT CODES 850

I was having problems reading codes on my 1994 - the lamp was dim and never got any codes. The problem was that I was not switching the ignition key to the II position - but don't start the motor. In this position my instrument lights are lit up. I also turn off the headlights and AC so I don't waste the battery too much.
