Help Me Pleaaase,,,c70 in trouble C70 1998

ok now,if you can just hear me out and tell me what you think, ok now my stupid brother once drove my c70 with no water in the radiator and that caused a broken engine, in efforts to reduce costs i didnt change the engine in a dealer but in a shop which installed a used cood condition engine that cost me 3000$ , now the problem is with the new engine my car died, i mean dieeed, like a 4 cylinder camry would pass me in a race (knowning that i have a HPT one) ,now what i suspect and want to ask is ,can a 2.4 LPT engine be installed in my car? whats the physical difference in the shape or outer layout of the HPT and LPT turbo, where is the displacement written on it??? and if he was stupid enought not to diiferentiate between the two, what would the consequences of hooking up a 2.4 engine designed for a LPT to a high pressure turbo?? does any one have any comments, ideas, anything please because my c70 is dead and i want to know why,,,thanks all
