Battery flat from parking lights woe C70 1999

hi,
if you didnt want the parking lights on then why did you turn them on? if you normally drive with the light switch in the park position then what for? why not leave the switch in off or on dip, then you will have dip lights on when you drive and no lights left on when you lock the car.

steve.

p.s. there is no standard feature you talk off im affaid,if the switch is in park then thats for when you leave the car parked in an area where you want it to be both locked up and visible at night time.
