Seramic brake pads vs. Conventional Pads 850 1993

I have been serching and asking for options on Seramic brake pads for my 1993 850. My biggest battle and concern is brake dust. I know its not that big of a problem, but it builds up to the point where it blackens the whole wheel. Its very fustration, its like i have to clean my wheels every 2-3 days. I was told that the seramic pads will not produce any dust. I was also told by a volvo service tech that i should not use the seramic pad because they dont have the same stopping quality as the volvo pads. I have also been looking at a couple of other brands (pro-stop). If anyone uses seramic pads, or has had them please your feedback will be greatly Appreciated, Thanks
