bushing 850

Dear brickboard people,
I had my car in the shop about a year ago and they said that I had a cracked bushing. I could have it replaced but at the time but I didn't have the money and they said it was just to damper the noise and the crack wasn't that bad. I was already spending alot there for my oxygen sensors anyway. Well, I was on a trip this past week in the Smokey mountains and went on a dirt road with a lot of bumps. The car did great but the next day coming off the mountain there was a straining/grinding/metal on metal noise when I took turns and hit dips and bumps. I assumed the bushing was to blame. The noise stopped but I have learned it is better to fix things before the domino effect happens. I looked up bushings info on brickboard but there seems to be a lot of bushings under the car. I am relatively new to suspensions. Can anyone tell me what type of bushing probably needed to be replaced. Thanks
