ENGINE HESITATION, FUEL PRESSURE, WHAT DO THESE CODES MEAN? V70-XC70 1999

Dave,
That's a part of the issue, indeed. Even though the ECM kicked out a code for the MAF, the tech said it was OK, but he only evaluated it at idle.
The other unfortunate part of this scenario is that the fuel pressure regulator is an integrated part of the fuel pump, neatly tucked inside the fuel tank.
I'm hoping to get a response from an experienced technician, so I feel more confident about my course of action.
