Idle control valve location ? 850 1994

You'll find it located under a plastic cover between the intake manifold and the air hose coming from the air filter housing. Only 1 screw holds this cover on (#25 torx if I remember correctly). I found it easiest to remove the hoses from the intake tube and vacuum tower and leave them connected to the IAC. Once you have removed the hoses and the electrical connection, the unit slides out of the rubberized plastic loop to the left. Once out I sprayed cleaner down the hoses and let it sit there for a while before pouring it out. What came out wasn't pretty.

It is a pretty easy job.
