Plug Wires Being Toasted 850 1996

Just did a 150k service on my 850 turbo and am a little concerned with the condition of the plug wires.

I fitted new wires (Bosch)/rotor/distributor cap at 120k and was surprised when I pulled the wires to replace the plugs - Cylinder #1 wire was toasted mid brown (still flexible) at the plug end and #3 cylinder was pale toast. The other 3 look new. All 5 plugs look normal (couldn't tell them apart).

Suggested cause/level of concern/cure?
