Sorry to hear that. I don't know if this means it isn't driveable or whatever.

I don't know if this helps but I have 15 x 7 Borbet type B and 195/60/15 and there is no rub (that I am aware of) the offset is 35. Tire rack claims that the type B fit my 850 with 195's at least

I think that the recommend tire for your is also 195mm wide. Maybe it is
just the extra tire width

I put your rim and 1994 into the tire rack and it recommends the 195.
I don't know what vendor recommended you 205

How bad is the rub and what is doing to the tire or fender?

Are you saying it hits the fender on the outside (the painted fender)
or inside of the wheel well?
