Maybe RMS, or not... 850 1993

Before you let your indie charge you God knows what to replace the RMS, when was the last time you replaced or cleaned the flametrap??? If the flametrap is not serviced the block will build up excessive gas pressure and can cause the RMS to leak. If the flame trap is clean then the RMS may well be in need of replacement if the leak is bad enough. Putting a half quart in between oil changes is a lot less expensive than replacing the RMS.....

Just my two cents worth.

Good luck.

Oliver
