Should I buy an 850 t5 wagon

I suggest you go for it, especially since you do work on your cars. Many here suggest 1997 is best 850 year. I have a light pressure turbo 1997GLT with 107,000 miles and it has been great. I do the small stuff myself and have only had a couple of big bills since new, namely ABS unit and in-tank fuel pump. Don't buy one unless you have service records and proof of regular maintenance.
