OBDII Readers S70 1998

I got one from Innova(Equus). Works well, shows all the codes, resets them. Cheaper then the rest. Got all my Volvo codes right away. Has a website that explains the codes, unless u have subscription to alldatadiy (highly reccomended).
Last I looked Equus was the cheapes, it is small, screen is big enough and it is battery powered, so that codes are not lost. Your other approach is going to be more expensive but will get you a lot more. Old laptop via Ebay($350-500), software from various vendor via internet (0-300) and seial/ubs cable from the same (15-35). If you already have an old laptop, then I would not recommend buying just a tool, I would advise buying cable and downloading software.
