Showing a code XC90

I have a 2002 XC and I am attempting to reset the service light (worked like a charm last time with the instructions I got from Brickboard). This time the light just will not reset. It makes a beep and then shows a code of 045. Does anyone know what this means? Is there a way around it without going back to the dealer? Thanks!
