oil drain plug MY2001- engines V70-XC70

hello
is there an aftermarket oil drain plug that is more user friendly, than what comes with the new car ? the head of the plug is shalllow, seems that the sides are flaring out towards the bottom of the head; it is hard to grab with a wrench or a socket; friendly dealer must have used an impact wrench, and I have almost stripped the head in order to unscrew.
any suggestions, or similar experiences are welcome
