Looking to buy V70-XC70

Thank you all for your input. Based on that, I think I'll try a '98 V70 GLT.
A guy at my church has a '98 S70 w/ 70K. He says it's been problem free. So, it seems like most of you agree about this model year.

Another church family take their car to a guy in GG CA. He'll buy used Volvo's and bring them up to par, replacing seals, belts, fluids and more. Folks who've bought his cars have had no problems. He's a bit pricey though charging >$50 for an oil change.

Considering safety and space, it was either a Volvo wgn. or the new Sienna minivan. The latter is more expensive and is in its first production year (may have bugs still).

So, it's off to find a V70 wagon. :)

ps. I love the boxy look.
