Rotors 850

When you replace the pads, you should have the rotors turned (machined) to ensure that they are smooth and not warped. Most Auto Part stores can turn rotors while you wait for a minimal fee. If the rotor has been turned before and is too thin then you will need new rotors.

If your rotors feel nice and smooth with no wear, then you can replace just the pads, but this practice is not recommended and can cause the pads to wear unevenly.

If you find you need new rotors, check EBay and you will see front and rear rotor sets for about $100 each. I saw one sale the other day for four rotors, pads, and stainless steel brake lines for under $250. Hard to beat that price...

Good Luck

Oliver
