Engine knock during acceleration/Rough idle when stopping..... S70

Hello All

I have a 98 S70 with 131000 miles (non turbo/lpt) Over the last couple of weeks i have been hearing my engine knock during accelration.

This happens EVERY time when the car is cold or has been sitting for a while.

I am adamant about letting my car warm up the last couple of times to see if the knocking sound would go away and with the temprature at normal operating tempratures and the outside weather in the sixty to sevety degree range the car still knock during acceleration.

Also, sometimes whill braking I can feel the car idle rough but that only happens occasionaly.

Is this a precurso to a tune up? I am not due for one for another 8000 miles or so.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
