does anyone know anything about swapping out the AW42 automatic trans for the M56 manual transmission that was an option for that year? I have also noticed that these same model numbers are used in many different volvo models for many years after 83, does that mean that an AW42 that goes in a 2000 V70 will bolt into an 83 850 for example? thanks for your comments.
