Volvo 850 Exhaust - Replacement 850

Many thanks to those people who responded to my earlier post.

My other question is this.....

The previous owner of my car, 850 2.5 10v Estate Manual, fitted a Bosal exhaust. This is not a performance item but just an pattern part. Its raspy and always sounds like its blowing but its not! Been checked by independent and verifys no blows.

It sounds awful and am told that its due to thinner steel used on the box and tubing.

What are my options for replacing this with something better??

I know these things are expensive but does anyone know anywhere in the UK where I could get an original cheaply or something as good made by a perhaps a performance manufacturer? Or a breakers?

Hope someones got some good advice!
