A new member need purchase help 850

Greetings! I am in market for a 850 and a friend of mine lead me to this wonderful board. Today me and my girlfriend went out and test drove a 96 base model 850. It's an automatic, has cloth interior, 91K miles, two owners, a new timing belt @78k at volvo dealer. The car has had two owners and the dealer claimed they have all service record from day one. The asking price is $4700. I test drove the car. The ride was very comfortable. But it didn't feel powerful, even in sports mode (the econ mode and sports mode didn't make me feel any difference).
Next Tuesday we will go to the dealer's place again. HE should have all records ready by then. But before I go, I would like to know the common problem areas for a 96 850 with 91K miles, and how should I look for them. I am not a newbie for cars. But this is the first volvo I ever looked under the hood. So input would be helpful.
Btw, could anyone let me know where I can find an FAQ for 850? I saw one for the RWD cars, and it's great. I would really appreciate one for 850's.
Thanks in advance
