New V70, V80 or 90?

Thank goodness Volvo has seemed to knock one out of the park with the new V50.
Unfortunately it is too small for my needs.

My recent test drive of an 04 V70 T5 left me unimpressed. Compared to my 97 850GLT LPT it offered less acceleration, less on center steering and more body role in corners. I told the sales person I would not even consider an even trade. She looked at me like I had lobsters coming out of my ears.

Anyway, does anyone know when we are due to see an updated V70 or larger wagon?
I am encouraged by what Volvo did with the V50.
